Traveler Compass, founded by Brandy Pecina in Fort Worth, Texas, empowers teens and young adults through personalized bilingual life coaching, mentoring, and life skills programs. As a licensed professional counselor associate (LPC-Associate) and bilingual youth coach fluent in English and Spanish, Brandy brings clinical insight, professional coaching certifications, and lived experience to help young people build resilience, confidence, leadership, and practical skills for a successful future.
Supported by her husband Manny’s extensive background in human services leadership and youth support, Traveler Compass offers customizable 1:1 coaching, group workshops, and family sessions. Through flexible pricing and generous sponsorships, we make high-quality, culturally responsive support accessible to diverse DFW families.
Our positive youth development approach focuses on measurable growth, goal setting, emotional resilience, and cultural pride guiding the next generation to navigate life with clarity and purpose.
Brandy Pecina, M.S. — Founder | MTLC
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and is currently completing her supervised clinical training toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
Brandy is known for being loving, kind, compassionate, and fearless. She is deeply committed to guiding teens and young adults through life’s transitions because of her genuine passion for helping others discover their potential and build meaningful futures.
Her coaching approach draws from Reality Therapy principles, focusing on personal responsibility, conscious choices, and self-empowerment. While she brings warmth and deep empathy, Brandy is also direct and honest offering clear feedback and practical guidance that helps clients move forward with confidence.
Brandy believes every young person has the inner strength to create the life they envision when given the right tools, encouragement, and supportive space to reflect and plan. Her work perfectly embodies Traveler Compass’s mission: to coach and mentor individuals toward clarity, balance, resilience, and purposeful living.
Emmanuel Pecina, M.M. — Administrator | Operations & Marketing Director
With a Master’s in Management and extensive experience in leadership and organizational development, Emmanuel oversees the coaching’s growth, structure, and community presence. He ensures Traveler Compass runs efficiently, stays accessible, and remains fully aligned with its mission of empowering young people.
His role includes managing day-to-day operations, coordinating outreach, and leading all marketing, social media, and public relations efforts. Emmanuel is the creative force behind Traveler Compass’s branding and digital presence, crafting authentic messaging that resonates with teens, young adults, and families looking for guidance and growth.
Passionate about building strong support systems for helping professionals, Emmanuel handles the essential behind-the-scenes work so the coaching team can focus on what matters most: delivering impactful life coaching and mentoring.
Outside of operations, Emmanuel enjoys exploring new ideas, connecting with the community, and creating meaningful spaces that promote clarity, resilience, and personal empowerment.
